Discussion paper1 Apr 2003
In March 2003 announced a review of mobile services, and in April 2003 released a discussion paper commencing the review. The discussion paper sought interested parties views on a range of issues relating to the need for regulation of mobile markets and the form that such regulation should take.
After receiving submissions to the mobile service review discussion paper the ACCC held public forums in Sydney and Melbourne. A range of issues relating to the mobile originating and terminating, international roaming and 3G services were discussed at the forums.
