About the registers
These registers contain a record of all authorisations and notifications received by the ACCC.
Businesses can seek protection from legal action when planning activities that will or may breach competition law.
An exemption from competition provisions may be obtained by:
- applying for authorisation, of agreements between competitors, cartel conduct, concerted practices, and misuse of market power, or
- lodging a notification, which is available for collective bargaining and collective boycotts, exclusive dealing and resale price maintenance.
We publish a register of authorisations and for each sort of notification.
This register contains a record of all applications for authorisation lodged with the ACCC. Authorisation is a formal process and the ACCC must maintain a public register.
This register contains a record of all collective bargaining notifications lodged with the ACCC since 2007, when the process became available.
This register contains a record of all exclusive dealing notifications, public submissions received from interested parties and ACCC decisions.
This register contains a record of all resale price maintenance notifications, public submissions received from interested parties and ACCC decisions.
