MTAS inquiry1 Jun 2004

In March 2004, the ACCC released a draft report on the mobile terminating access service (MTAS). The report considered whether the ACCC should extend, vary or revoke the existing declaration of the MTAS. In the draft report the ACCC indicated that it had formed a draft view that declaration of a varied mobile termination service would be in the long-term interest of end users.

Final report MTAS

In June 2004, the ACCC released a final report relating to the MTAS. The report considered whether the ACCC should extend, vary or revoke the existing declaration of the MTAS.

In the report the ACCC decided that declaration of a varied MTAS would be in the long-term-interests of end-users.
