The ACCC released a discussion paper on 21 November 2018 seeking feedback on:
- the analytical framework for monitoring, including the expectations of market outcomes and participant behaviour
- the measures we use to monitor
- monitoring the impact of policy developments
- the process and timing for the collection of information.
Submissions to the Discussion Paper closed on 19 December 2018.
Broadly speaking, the inquiry is a public process and written feedback will be posted on the ACCC website.
The ACCC can accept a claim of confidentiality from the party if the disclosure of information would damage their competitive position. Further information is contained in the discussion paper.
