Summary
ANZ will provide or offer to provide financing for insurance products to customers on condition that the customers acquire the insurance products from nominated suppliers.
The insurance products relate to Esanda-branded insurance products issued by Allianz Australia Insurance Ltd (or alternatively ANZ-branded insurance products of a similar nature issued by another issuer) relating to:
(i) motor vehicles which are acquired with the use of a banking product (e.g. comprehensive car insurance) and
(ii) Banking products provided in relation to motor vehicles (e.g. loan protection insurance).
The notification was withdrawn on 4 May 2017.
