Airservices submitted a draft price notification for its aviation rescue and fire fighting service on 5 May 2005.
The draft pricing proposal involves:
- price increases for those customers operating aircraft weighing more than 15.1 tonnes
- an increase in the threshold under which customers are exempt from charges from 2.5 to 5.7 tonnes.
The proposed price increases are temporary and will apply for the six-month period to 31 December 2005.
