The ACCC has released a determination granting a minor variation to Authorisation AA1000423 - Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA).

The authorisation allowed RWWA and TSG Wagering (now BetEasy) to enter into an agreement for risk management services relating to fixed-odds wagering until 30 December 2028.

On 14 February 2020, RWWA requested a minor variation to the authorisation in anticipation of the sale by the Western Australian Government of the wagering business conducted by RWWA. The changes relate to the relationship between RWWA and TSG Wagering/BetEasy, including a reduction in fees and provisions relating to the platform used to provide services to RWWA (such as how outages are dealt with).

Further information about the ACCC’s decision is available on the ACCC’s public register at: Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) - Minor Variation.
