On 17 December 2014, the ACCC concluded its inquiry into the variation of the 2012 domestic transmission capacity service (DTCS) final access determination and released a final report. The ACCC has decided to vary the 2012 DTCS final access determination so that it applies to the three regional routes (Bundaberg, Maryborough and Rockhampton) and seven regional exchange serving areas (being Kirwan, Gulliver, Withcott, Middle Ridge, Newtown, Drayton and Frenchville) re-regulated under the 2014 DTCS declaration.

The varied 2012 DTCS final access determination will commence on 1 January 2015 and expire when a new DTCS final access determination comes into operation.
