Telstra's Migration Plan

On 14 November 2012, the ACCC approved a number of minor variations to the migration plan. These variations include three key amendments to clause 17 of the migration plan:

• deferring the commencement of the cease sale obligation until 1 May 2013
• deferring the application of the cease sale obligation until 10 business days after the ready for service date for each rollout region from 1 May 2013
• clarifying that the cease sale obligation applies to orders or requests received by Telstra for new copper or HFC services and that the assessment of whether the cease sale obligation applies will occur at the time Telstra receives the order.
