Determination
On 19 July 2021 the ACCC made the interim access determination for the superfast broadband access service (SBAS). The SBAS interim access determination expires on 31 December 2022, unless revoked sooner.
Extension of existing interim access determination
On 26 October 2022 the ACCC decided to extend its interim access determination for the declared SBAS.
The existing interim access determination is due to expire on 31 December 2022. The ACCC has extended this interim access determination as it will not be in a position to make the new SBAS final access determination prior to 31 December 2022.
The new expiry date is taken to be the day immediately before the day on which the final access determination for the SBAS comes into force.
Information on the ACCC’s inquiry into making a new access determination for this service can be found at SBAS access determination inquiry 2021.
On December 23 2022, the ACCC decided to make minor variations to the SBAS Interim Access Determination, to reflect the Telstra corporate restructure.
