Summary
The Territory Insurance Office (TIO) proposes to offer certain benefits to insured parties who hold motor vehicle insurance policies with TIO and choose to use a participating repairer approved by TIO. The benefits are:
- a lifetime repair guarantee on the repairs so conducted; and
- TIO will cover the cost of all authorised repairs undertaken (subject to any excess or deductible) as opposed to providing a cash settlement to the insured party.
