Description of Conduct

On 16 November 2021 the ACCC received an application for minor variation from the Recruitment, Consulting & Staffing Association (RCSA) in respect of authorisation AA1000435. Authorisation AA1000435 was granted for 5 years on 8 August 2019 and is for RCSA’s professional conduct regime, which sets out professional standards for members, guidelines for the resolution of grievances and processes for dealing with non-compliance by members.

RCSA sought minor variation to the authorisation to:

  • amend the Professional Conduct Grievance Intervention Guidelines (PCGIG) to enable the Professional Conduct Review Committee to make an early professional conduct recommendation in the course of an investigation to facilitate early resolution of a grievance, and
  • make changes to its Constitution to bring co-opted director maximum terms into alignment with other directors, to align director eligibility for president, and to make other administrative amendments, including replacing references to the (now retired) Disciplinary and Dispute Resolution Procedures with ‘PCGIG’.

On 17 December 2021, the ACCC issued a determination granting the minor variations. Authorisation AA1000435 will remain in effect until 8 August 2024.
