Digital platforms inquiry 2017-19

The ACCC released its preliminary report on 10 December 2018 seeking feedback on key findings and preliminary recommendations in the inquiry. Submissions to the preliminary report closed on 15 February 2019. Some further submissions were received after this date.

Confidentiality

Broadly speaking, the inquiry is a public process and written feedback will be posted on the ACCC website.

The ACCC can accept a claim of confidentiality from a party if it is satisfied that the disclosure of information would damage their competitive position, and the ACCC is not of the opinion that disclosure of the information is necessary in the public interest. Further information in relation to confidentiality arrangements for the Inquiry are contained in the Issues paper.

Individuals’ personal contact details have been removed from submissions.
