On 26 August 2022 Bulk Cargo Services Pty Ltd applied to the ACCC seeking to be determined an exempt service provider of port terminal services at its port terminal facility at Pinkenba, Queensland.
On 12 October 2022 Wagner Corporation Pty Ltd applied to the ACCC seeking to be determined an exempt service provider of port terminal services at its port terminal facility at Pinkenba, Queensland.
On 9 November 2022 the ACCC released draft determinations proposing to grant Bulk Cargo Services Pty Ltd and Wagner Corporation Pty Ltd exempt service provider status in relation to their respective Pinkenba port terminal facilities. The closing date for submissions was 23 November 2022. One submission was received.
On 16 December 2022 the ACCC released a final determinations document confirming that it has determined Bulk Cargo Services Pty Ltd and Wagner Corporation Pty Ltd to be exempt service providers of port terminal services at their respective port terminal facilities at Pinkenba. The exemptions were made by notifiable instruments.
