Extension of MTAS Final Access Determinations
On 24 June 2024, the ACCC decided to extend the existing final access determination (FAD) for the mobile terminating access service (MTAS).
The ACCC is extending the MTAS FAD as it will not be in a position to make a new FAD for the service prior to its expiry on 30 June 2024. The MTAS FAD is now extended to expire on the date immediately before the day on which a new FAD comes into force. On 2 October 2020, the ACCC released its final report for the public inquiry into making a final access determination (FAD) for the mobile terminating access service (MTAS). This FAD replaces the previous MTAS FAD (Final Access Determination No. 1 of 2015).
