Global Payments is the Australian subsidiary of Global Payments Inc., a payments technology company headquartered in Georgia, USA. Global Payments owns Sentral Pty Ltd (Sentral) which is a leading national supplier of school administration software solutions to public and independent schools, including school information software, parent communications and consent, and student finance software.

School Bytes is an Australian company supplying school administration software, including school information software, parent communications and consent, and student finance software products, to public schools in NSW.

Global Payments subsidiary Sentral and School Bytes overlap in the provision of school administration software to public schools in NSW.

Market inquiries

Submissions are invited from interested parties regarding Global Payments’ proposed acquisition of School Bytes by 4pm on Friday 23 February 2024.

Submissions should be forwarded electronically (preferably in PDF format) to mergers@accc.gov.au with the title: "Submission re: Global Payments / School Bytes – attention Sophie Matthiesson / Andrew Toor”.
