Summary

BP, through its aviation fuel division Air BP, proposed to acquire the following:
- Viva's interest in the bulk aviation fuel storage assets located at Bankstown Airport in New South Wales
- Viva's interest in the bulk storage infrastructure at Parafield Airport in South Australia
- the bulk storage infrastructure and into-plane refuelling infrastructure at Cloncurry Airport in Queensland, and
- the bulk storage infrastructure and into-plane refuelling infrastructure at Bundaberg Airport in Queensland.

ACCC decided not to oppose Air BP's acquisition of Viva's interest in aviation fuel assets at Parafield Airport (SA), Cloncurry Airport (QLD) and Bundaberg Airport (QLD). The ACCC's investigation on the proposed acquisition at Bankstown Airport remains ongoing.

Former proposed decision date of 15 February 2018 delayed pending receipt of further information. ACCC will announce a new decision date in due course (as outlined in the Merger Review Process Guidelines, this may be a final decision or release of a Statement of Issues).

ACCC discontinued its public review after Air BP informed of its intention to withdraw its proposed acquisition of Viva's interest in aviation fuel assets at Bankstown Airport.
