Summary

The Forestry Corporation of NSW (FCNSW) proposes to acquire the assets of Hume Forests Ltd (Hume) from an investment fund advised by Global Forest Partners LP.

The FCNSW is a state-owned corporation appointed to manage environmental conservation, community access, tourism, fire, land management and renewable timber production on behalf of the NSW Government. Hume owns sustainable softwood plantation estates in the Tumut/Tumbarumba and Bathurst/Oberon regions of NSW.
