On 16 November 2023, the Hon, Chris Bowen MP, Minister for Climate Change and Energy (the Minister), granted the above Exempt Persons (collectively, APLNG) a conditional Ministerial exemption (the Exemption) pursuant to sections 61, 63 and 65 of the Competition and Consumer (Gas Market Code) Regulations 2023 (the Code). The Exemption relates to the price rules in Division 2 of Part 4 of the Code.
The Minister granted the Exemption in response to an application from APLNG.
The exemption period commenced on 16 November 2023 and ends on 31 December 2025.
