Exemption for Newcastle Greater Mutual Group Ltd

On 5 October 2023, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Newcastle Greater Mutual Group Ltd deferring certain consumer data sharing obligations under the CDR Rules (as specified in the exemption instrument) in relation to the Greater Bank brand until 30 November 2024. The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from NGM.
