- Caravan Trade and Industries Association
Caravan Trade Industries Association of Queensland (Caravanning Queensland) lodged an exclusive dealing notification with the ACCC on 3 October 2019 in relation to its caravan and motor home trade exhibitions. Specifically, Caravanning Queensland proposed to establish a loyalty program where it would offer discounted exhibition fees to its members who participated exclusively in Caravanning Queensland owned and operated events. Members who participate in events operated by alternative suppliers would not be eligible to receive the discount. A copy of the notification is available under the ‘Notification’ heading below.
On 17 June 2020, the ACCC issued a draft notice proposing to revoke the notification. The ACCC did not receive any public submissions in response, and a conference was not called.
On 23 July 2020, the ACCC issued a final notice revoking the notification.
