Bluesfest Tours Pty Ltd and Bluesfest Byron Bay Pty Ltd

On 27 October 2023 Bluesfest Tours Pty Ltd lodged exclusive dealing notification N10000653 and on 6 November 2023 Bluesfest Byron Bay Pty Ltd lodged exclusive dealing notification N10000564.

The notifications are identical and relate to the following conduct:

Bluesfest Tours Pty Ltd and Bluesfest Byron Bay Pty Ltd propose to contract with International Artists to provide live music venues at:

(a) Tyagarah NSW and/or

(b) across Australia

and provide that the International Artist, depending upon the nature of the tour of the act, will either:

(c) for the touring International Artists, not perform at another live music event in Australia for a period of up to 6 months before, and up to 3 months after the performances they are contracted to provide, or

(d) for the International Artists that perform at Tyagarah only, not perform at another live music event within up to 500km of the Tyagarah music venue for a period of up to 6 months before, and up to 3 months after the performances they are contracted to provide.

Legal protection provided by an exclusive dealing notification commences immediately when the notification is lodged, and will continue unless or until the notification is revoked or withdrawn.
