Description of Conduct
The Transport Workers' Union SA/NT Branch seeks authorisation for its owner driver members contracted to Toll Transport Pty Ltd to bargain collectively with Toll, with the assistance of the TWU, for the purpose of establishing new contractural arrangements for the supply of freight courier services.
On 4 December 2015 the ACCC issued a draft determination proposing to grant authorisation, for three years. It also granted interim authorisation for bargaining to start, on the basis that no contracts will be entered into until the ACCC issues its final determination.
On 4 February 2016 the ACCC granted authorisation, for three years (to 26 February 2019).
