The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has released for public comment the complete draft telecommunications access code developed by the Telecommunications Access Forum.
The ACCC released an earlier draft of the code and a discussion paper on 29 October 1997.
The TAF has now finalised the remaining annexures B and C of the code relating to model terms and conditions for a transmission service, digital data access service, conditioned local loop service and AMPS to GSM diversion service. The TAF has also revised Schedules 2 and 13. The complete draft code released by the Commission today incorporates these additions and revisions.
Submissions on the code must be received before 4 December 1997.
The complete code and the discussion paper will be available on the ACCCs website at http://www.accc.gov.au. Copies of the code are also available at the ACCCs Melbourne and Sydney offices.
