In September 2003 Telstra lodged an access undertaking with the ACCC specifying the terms and conditions upon which it undertakes to meet its standard access obligations to supply the line sharing service (LSS).
Following a public inquiry in 2003-04, a new declaration for the domestic transmission capacity service started on 1 April 2004 and expired on 31 March 2009.
In December 2004 the ACCC released a final decision reiterating its draft views on LCS and PSTN.
Following public consultation, the ACCC revoked both declarations relating to the AMPS service, as the closure of the AMPS network on 31 December 2000 made these declarations redundant.
