The ACCC has released a series of information papers to inform ISPs and companies advertising broadband and wireless internet services of their obligations under the Trade Practices Act 1974, now the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (the Act).

In accordance with clause 4.1B of the final access determinations, clause 4.1A of the final access determinations expired on 7 December 2012.
On 16 December 2011 the ACCC released a final decision to vary the final access determinations to remove the exemption provisions for the WLR, LCS and PSTN OA declared fixed line services.
