The ACCC has granted urgent interim authorisation permitting manufacturers and other industry participants to collaborate on arrangements for the supply of diesel exhaust fluid, known as ‘AdBlue’ that is used in most modern diesel vehicles to control noxious emissions.
On 14 November 2022, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (the ACCC) granted authorisation, with conditions, to enable the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and energy industry participants to engage in certain coordination, input sharing, and information sharing activities for the purpose of ensuring the reliable operation of energy systems (the Authorised Conduct).
The ACCC is working with the Federal Government, regulators and other relevant organisations to facilitate closer coordination of data sharing between Optus and Australian Prudential Regulation Authority-regulated entities.
