The ACCC proposes to revoke authorisation AA1000453 and grant authorisation AA1000610 in substitution to enable the Goulburn Valley Waste and Resource Recovery Group (GVWRRG) and North East Waste and Resource Recovery Group (NEWRRG), on behalf of themselves and 18 councils and alpine resort management boards located in regional areas (together, the Applicants) to jointly procure waste and resource recovery services.
The ACCC has granted authorisation to enable three Tasmanian councils to engage in collective tendering and contracting for food and garden organics processing services, including acceptance, sorting and disposal. Authorisation has been granted until 8 December 2026.

On 8 June 2022, the ACCC granted interim authorisation to Virgin Australia Regional Airlines Pty Ltd, Virgin Australia Airlines Pty Ltd, Alliance Airlines Pty Limited and Alliance Aviation Services Limited (together, the Applicants) to enter into and give effect to an extension of their Charter Alliance Agreement.
