The ACCC has granted minor variations to the Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association (RCSA)’s authorisation AA1000435, which was granted for 5 years on 8 August 2019. The authorisation relates to RCSA’s professional conduct regime, which sets out professional standards for members, guidelines for the resolution of grievances and processes for dealing with non-compliance by members.

On 16 November 2021, RCSA requested minor variations to the authorisation to amend the Professional Conduct Grievance Intervention Guidelines to enable the Professional Conduct Review Committee to make an early professional conduct recommendation in the course of an investigation to facilitate early resolution of a grievance, and to make administrative changes to RCSA’s constitution.

The ACCC is satisfied that the variations sought are minor and are unlikely to result in a reduction in the extent to which the benefits to the public from the authorisation outweighs any detriment to the public.

Further information about the ACCC’s decision is available on the ACCC’s public register at: Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association Limited – Minor Variation.
