The ACCC has issued a draft determination proposing to grant authorisation for CS Energy and others to jointly negotiate with Batchfire Resources Pty Ltd the terms and conditions (including price) of coal to be supplied to the Callide B and Callide C power stations in Queensland.

Authorisation is proposed to be granted for ten years. The ACCC also decided to grant interim authorisation to enable the joint negotiations to commence immediately.

Further information about the application for authorisation is available on the authorisation public register.
