The ACCC has granted authorisation AA1000637 to enable Australian Entertainment Industry Association (trading as Live Performance Australia) to negotiate with the Australasian Performing Right Association, the Phonographic Performance Company of Australia and OneMusic Australia, on behalf of members with respect to the acquisition of copyright licences.
On 10 May 2023, the ACCC granted interim authorisation to enable the proposed conduct to commence while the ACCC completed its assessment process.
The ACCC has granted authorisation until 14 July 2033.
