Summary

On 23 February 2023, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (the Act) to Traditional Credit Union Limited (TCU) delaying the commencement date of its consumer data sharing obligations until 30 June 2025. The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from TCU.
The ACCC also revoked the exemption granted under section 56GD of the Act to TCU on 10 June 2021.
