Vodafone Network Pty Limited will offer refunds to some pre-paid mobile telephone customers and provide full disclosure of contract conditions after an Australian Competition and Consumer Commission investigation.
Numerous complaints were received by the ACCC from Vodafone customers alleging they were misled about a cut in the expiry period for their FastFone pre-paid call credits.
This matter concerned allegations of false or misleading representations and unconscionable conduct in connection with the sale and marketing of a computer software betting program in Australia and New Zealand by Solutions Software International Pty Ltd and the companies formerly known as Acepark Pty Ltd and Offtrack Investments Pty Ltd.
