Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (NSROC) lodged an application for authorisation for joint tender for the services of qualified contractors to provide waste transfer , processing and disposal services to the respective Local Government areas in Sydney. Granted authorisation to the process of advertising for and subsequently jointly tendering for the services of qualified contractors to provide waste transfer, processing and disposal services to their respective Local Government areas. Authorisation granted to a tender period of 12 months from 3 March 2004 and a contract period of up to 15 years.
