The ACCC is responsible for monitoring compliance with:
- the Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020
- the Consumer Data Standards
- Part IVD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
We jointly regulate the Consumer Data Right, together with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
The ACCC conducts audits and targeted compliance reviews of Consumer Data Right participants from time to time to ensure they comply with their obligations under the Consumer Data Right legislation, rules and standards.
