The ACCC has released a survey to seek feedback from consumers, business and other stakeholders as part of its annual review of the ACCC’s Compliance and Enforcement Policy.

The ACCC’s Compliance and Enforcement policy sets out the ACCC’s priority areas for its compliance and enforcement activities and lists the primary factors the ACCC will take into account when deciding to pursue issues or matters.

Feedback from businesses and consumers is invaluable when drafting this policy and past feedback has had a direct impact on our priority areas.

We are seeking your views on our current priority areas and asking you to identify any new issues that might be resulting in consumer harm or competitive detriment. We are also asking you to consider the ACCC’s longer term vision, purpose and capabilities.

We would appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your input to help us ensure that the ACCC’s resources are utilised in the most effective way possible in 2020.

The survey will be open until Wednesday 23 October 2019.

The survey is available at: ACCC strategic review survey.

The ACCC’s current Compliance and Enforcement Policy is available at: Compliance and Enforcement Policy

The 2020 Compliance and Enforcement Policy will be released in February 2020.
