On 20 October 2021 the ACCC released a public Consultation Paper on amendments to the Audit of Telecommunications Infrastructure Assets - record keeping rules (Infrastructure record keeping rule).
The Consultation Paper proposes changes to the Infrastructure record keeping rule to update the list of record keepers, introduce new information requirements in relation to end users’ equipment and the reporting of mobile infrastructure.
The Consultation Paper also seeks comments on amendments to the rules to ensure that record keepers provide detailed references to all elements in maps, and advise the ACCC of any changes in the methodology adopted in the preparing their reports.
Submissions to the Consultation Paper closed on 19 November 2021.
