Consultation7 Apr 2015

The ACCC is currently undertaking an inquiry into whether it should declare the superfast broadband access service (SBAS). If the ACCC were to declare an SBAS, it may have similar characteristics to the LBAS and therefore any consultation in relation to an access determination for the SBAS is likely to consider matters also relevant to LBAS pricing.

The ACCC intends to conduct the LBAS final access determination inquiry concurrently with any SBAS final access determination inquiry. This will take place after the conclusion of the SBAS declaration inquiry.

Interested parties will be able to access any discussion paper for the LBAS inquiry on this webpage, upon public release. Submissions to the final access determination inquiry are to be made in electronic format.

For further information, see SBAS inquiry.
