Mobile terminating access service final access determination inquiry - 2014

On 20 May 2015, the ACCC further extended the period for making a final access determination for the mobile terminating access service (MTAS) for 6 months to 23 November 2015.

The ACCC had previously extended the inquiry period to 23 May 2015. The ACCC will not be able to make a final access determination by this date due to the amount of time needed to determine the preferred pricing methodology for the MTAS, implement the preferred pricing methodology in consultation with the industry and develop a draft decision for industry consultation.

The ACCC considers that a further extension will allow the ACCC sufficient time to consider submissions in response to the draft decision and make a final decision.
