On 27 October 2014, the ACCC extended the period for making a final access determination for the mobile terminating access service (MTAS) by 6 months.

On 27 October 2014, the ACCC extended the period for making a final access determination for the MTAS by 6 months.
The ACCC is unable to complete its inquiry sooner due to the need to consult with stakeholders on the development of an appropriate pricing methodology for the MTAS final access determination.
The ACCC may need to extend the inquiry for a further period in order to finalise the MTAS final access determination.
