Access undertaking - Gold Coast 7 Mar 2022
On 3 November 2021, the ACCC received a proposed access undertaking in relation to the commencement of digital radio services in the Gold Coast, Queensland. The undertaking was lodged by Digital Radio Broadcasting Gold Coast Pty Ltd.
The ACCC released a consultation and position paper on the proposed access undertaking on 16 November 2021. The ACCC’s preliminary position was to accept the undertaking subject to assessment of submissions received from stakeholders.
Submissions were due by 15 December 2021.
The ACCC did not receive any submissions.
On 2 March 2022 the ACCC accepted the access undertaking for the Gold Coast, under section 118NF of the Radiocommunications Act 1992.
