Access undertaking - Mandurah24 Sep 2019
On 2 September 2019, the ACCC received a proposed access undertaking in relation to the commencement of Digital Radio services in Mandurah, Western Australia. The undertaking was lodged by Digital Radio Broadcasting Mandurah Pty Ltd.
The ACCC released a consultation and position paper on 24 September 2019. The ACCC’s preliminary position was to accept the undertaking subject to assessment of submissions received from the stakeholders.
The ACCC received one submission from West Coast Radio Pty Ltd which was in support of the ACCC’s preliminary position. West Coast Radio Pty Ltd is currently the sole access seeker and shareholder for Digital Radio Broadcasting Mandurah Pty Ltd (Digital Radio Multiplex Transmitter Licensee).
On 1 November 2019 the ACCC accepted, pursuant to section 118NF of the Radiocommunications Act 1992, the proposed access undertaking for Mandurah, Western Australia.
