On 27 February 2012 the ACCC accepted Telstra’s structural separation undertaking (SSU) and approved the draft Migration Plan. The ACCC also accepted a joint section 87B undertaking from NBN Co and Telstra to mitigate concerns raised by the ACCC in relation to potential future variations to the commercial arrangements between the parties (the Definitive Agreements).
On 6 and 7 March 2012 respectively, Telstra's SSU and Migration Plan came into force under subsections 577J(3) and (5) of the Telecommunications Act 1997 (the Act).
