Viterra is a bulk handling company that operates six bulk wheat port facilities in South Australia.
Viterra's port terminal services are currently regulated by the Port Terminal Access (Bulk Wheat) Code of Conduct (Code). The Code regulates bulk wheat port terminal operators to ensure that exporters have fair and transparent access to terminal facilities.
On 3 December 2015, the ACCC approved Viterra's application to introduce long term agreements for the allocation of port capacity at its port terminals. The ACCC's approval relates to Viterra's proposed Port Loading Protocols provided to the ACCC on 10 November 2015.
