The ACCC will adopt a new organisational structure from 1 July 2021.

Under this new structure, operational divisions will be more closely aligned with the ACCC’s strategic objectives. This includes new, dedicated Consumer and Fair Trading, Competition, and Consumer Product Safety Divisions.

These changes will allow us to ensure we continue to deliver for Australian consumers and businesses.

The new structure involves the following divisions:

  • Consumer and Fair Trading
  • Competition
  • Consumer Product Safety
  • Mergers, Exemptions and Digital
  • Infrastructure
  • Consumer Data Right Division
  • Specialist Advice and Services
  • Corporate.
