Gas inquiry 2017-2020

On 19 April 2017 the Australian Government directed the ACCC to conduct a wide-ranging inquiry into the supply of and demand for wholesale gas in Australia, as well as to publish regular information on the supply and pricing of gas for the next three years.

Required Measure 5(E)

On 17 February 2017, Telstra provided the ACCC with a proposed Required Measure 5(E) that details the managed disconnection process Telstra will use for the direct Special Services and Special Service Inputs covered by NBN Co’s White Paper 3 – namely Telstra’s wholesale domestic tail transmission capacity service.

Draft decision

On 20 April 2017, the ACCC released a draft decision inviting submissions on the 2017 HVAU submitted by ARTC on 9 December 2016.

Submissions on the draft decision were due by 12 May 2017.

How the Horticulture Code helps you

The Horticulture Code of Conduct is a mandatory industry code prescribed under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. The Code aims to improve the clarity and transparency of trading arrangements between growers and traders in the horticulture sector.

Required Measures 5(C) and 5(D)

On 31 January 2017, Telstra provided the ACCC with a proposed Required Measure 5(C) that details the managed disconnection process Telstra will use for the direct Special Services and Special Service Inputs covered by NBN Co’s White Paper 2 – for ATM over copper.

On 9 February 2017, Telstra also provided the ACCC with a proposed Required Measure 5(D) that details the managed disconnection process of Special Services covered by NBN Co’s White Papers 3 and 4.
