On 24 October 2017, the ACCC released an issues paper seeking feedback on costs, premiums and profits, competition, consumer experiences, risk mitigation and regulation in the insurance sector. Submissions to the issues paper will close on 21 December 2017.
The ACCC released its interim report on 30 November 2017 and is seeking industry feedback.
On 28 September 2017 the Treasurer extended the reporting period for the inquiry.
