The ACCC is the regulator responsible for approving or determining State Water’s regulated charges in the Murray-Darling Basin (MDB) to apply for the period 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2017. For the process to commence, State Water is to submit an application to the ACCC for approval/determination of its regulated charges. The ACCC received the State Water application on 31 July 2013. The associated application documents are provided below.
Prior to receiving the State Water application, the ACCC held information sessions for State Water's customers in 2012 and early 2013 to explain the upcoming review process.
