On 27 May 2013 the ACCC commenced an inquiry into whether to extend, vary or revoke the domestic mobile terminating access service (MTAS) declaration, or make a new declaration. The ACCC issued a discussion paper inviting submissions on the declaration review by 5 July 2013.
On 13 December 2013, the ACCC released a report of its draft decision for comment.
On 17 June 2014, the ACCC concluded the MTAS declaration inquiry and released a final decision report setting out its findings in the inquiry.
