CHS sites disconnection arrangements7 Sep 2017

On 7 September 2017 the ACCC approved Telstra’s request for regulatory forbearance in relation to the disconnection of Commonwealth Government High Security sites.

NBN Co has experienced difficulty in servicing particular Commonwealth Government High Security sites, because of the nature of these sites. The regulatory forbearance aims to ensure that, where there are difficulties in making Commonwealth Government High Security sites serviceable, those sites can remain connected to their existing services for a limited additional period.

Telstra and NBN Co will review the arrangements in 12 months’ time.
